Work at a resort or a hostel.

There may be a few resort or hostel jobs out there for you. You may be even able to exchange work for your room.

Work on a farm.

I have heard of a few people working on a farm in exchange for free room and board. You may have to help out on their farm such as picking food, cleaning up, and so on.

Teach english in a foreign country.

This is definitely more of a job if you plan on staying in a place for a long period of time. If you only plan on staying for a few weeks of a few months, then teaching English is probably not for you. Usually you will need a four year degree in most countries to do this and to get a visa.

Work at a restaurant.

There are some restaurant jobs that may work for you if you plan on staying in a country for a little bit longer. You may be able to find a waitress/waiter job, hosting position, a bartender, and so on.

Work online.

There are probably hundreds of different online jobs that you can try for when you are traveling. What is great about working online is that you can probably travel to wherever since all you most likely need is a laptop and a good internet connection.

Online jobs that you could get include:

  • Write online.
  • Start a blog.
  • Graphic design.
  • Blog design.
  • Become an affiliate marketer.
  • Become a virtual assistant.

Do you have a job that allows you to travel? Or do you try to work as you go?
